It’s often said that no design is entirely original; within every designer exists a library of past references, styles, and established form languages.
With this project, I challenged myself to look inward and design beyond the constraints of what is typically considered a modern sneaker, allowing intuition and personal perspective to guide the outcome rather than convention.

my objective was not to design a shoe,

an emotion,
a feeling,
a flow.
i allowed a traditional last to permeate my space, but i decided
to forgo what a shoe "is", and create an unconventional exterior

and thus, arche was born, not by conventional means,
but in the truest form to myself.
